re: Paper Punk

I wanted to write a quick post about a project that I've been involved with for the past few months.

Grace Hawthorne, publisher of my beloved ReadyMade Magazine (RIP. snif.) is the mastermind behind these colorful paper building blocks called Paper Punk. The results are some fun, fantastically good looking toys/models that you can create yourself with a series of folded paper:

The first Paper Punk kits being offered are called Singles- they are kits where everything you need to build one paper toy comes complete in a sturdy re-useable folder. The first three Singles making their debut are BOT001, PUP001 and RIDE001.

The Kickstarter campaign met its goal today (hooray!), which means Paper Punk is well on the way to becoming a reality. If you'd still like to be the first to get your hands on some, you can continue to contribute to the Kickstarter campaign for the next 11 days, AND have a chance at some fun limited edition items created exclusively for Kickstarter, like a special screened poster, a bot lamp (that was so hard to make that this is really the only time you'll ever be able to get your hands on one) and more:

I'm sure I'll have more to share once things really get rolling, but right now we're all high-fiving with a successful kickstart!

I know! I have so much to put on the internet that it will probably explode when I finally do.
